The mitotl ceremony is a sacred Toltec ritual in dreaming performed through the night. It has been passed down through generation to transform dreams, being awake within a dream …to take control of your sub-consciousness. There are various methods of approaching this clear state, woven together in this ritual designed to push and pull an individual along their transformation. Most of our actions, thoughts, and emotional responses are patterned routines. Once you realize that you can break up the patterns around sleep, it gives us more confidence and personal power to break other patterns in our life that we want to change. In the dream state our awareness is still working to evolve whether we are conscious of our dreams or not.
This transformation happens in realms that we are often not consciously aware of. The final step leading to the great realization is to know that existence is as unreal as a dream. Universal Creation, with its multiple spheres of existence, all organic and inorganic phenomena, form and matter in its innumerable physical forms is nothing but different contents of this Dream Supreme. With the emergence of this divine wisdom, the appearance of the macrocosm in microcosmic is fully awake, liberation of ego, enlightenment.
